What are the review dates for travel?

The travel review is now due to happen on Friday, September 17. Announcements have been taking place every three weeks, with the first one on June 3, the second on June 24, the third on July 14, the fourth one on August 4 and the fifth on August 26.

Is England going on the red list?

There are currently no red list restrictions in place for travel to England.

Which countries will go red?

The present red list countries are:

  • Does California require Covid testing for travel?

    California has no travel restrictions or requirements at this time.

    How long will I test positive for Covid after having it?

    If you get COVID-19, you may test positive on a PCR test for several weeks after you have ceased to be infectious. With a rapid test, you may test positive for six or seven days after your symptoms have cleared.

    When can I travel after testing positive for Covid?

    You tested positive for COVID-19. Do not travel until a full 10 days after your symptoms started or the date your positive test was taken if you had no symptoms.

    What happens if you can't afford quarantine hotel?

    If you have not booked and paid for a quarantine or testing package before arriving in England, and have not been granted a hardship arrangement, you may be fined up to £4,000. You'll also have to pay for your managed quarantine or testing on arrival.

    Is antigen test accepted for travel to USA?

    The test must be a SARS-CoV-2 viral test (nucleic acid amplification test [NAAT] or antigen test) with Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) OR the relevant national authority where the test is administered.
